Mood rings

Pepole generally wore ring for various reasons. Mostly for fashion, passion and love. Some wore for medical, ethically and so on. Do you belive that a type of ring can tell your mood? Of course its true, they can tell. It the Mood Rings. Do you know something on Mood rings? They are the rings, change its color according to the mood (emotion) of the person who wore it. What is the fact behind it? Here it reveals...
Wow!

Basic color of  the ring vary from blue to green (490nm to 550nm) i.e., which accord to the normal human body temperature. Coming to the fact, how do they change their colors? They are such a material containing Liquid crystals within them, which are thermochromic elements (thermo-heat, Chromic-color). When the boby temperature  (thermo) changes, the thermochromic elements (Liquid crystals) response to the temperature i.e.,  they vary their chromic levels of the atoms present in the crystal. These crystal materials embbed within a ring without a underneath cover or thin layer of a metal that could transfer the heat of the body via skin to the crystal. As human body temperature vary according to their emotional states, say angry, happy, passion, crying, fear etc... Chromic level depends on the basic reflection of light (at a certain wavelength). These are the facts about the Mood Rings.

As human body temperature fluctuate according to their emotional state, there gives rise to different color change in th emood rings. There is a list, prepared based on the color of the ring due to the fluctuation. Check out below. Listed in the order of VIBGYOR with some chemistry between material of he ring to the temperature of the boby.

  • Violet or Indigo - Happy, Romantic, Passionate
  • Purple - Sensuality
  • Blue - Relaxed, Calm, Happy
  • Green - Healing, Love, Calm
  • Yellow - Mental Strain
